Remember the good old StarCraft days: nights were longer, days were brighter, ice-cream tasted better and Lee Jae Dong was still using a porter-potty. Well, if you're nostalgic about old times why not participate in the "Nostalgia" tournament.
We already wrote about it a couple weeks back, so here's a quick recap and an update:
Prize pool: over $1500.
Map Pool: Nostalgia, Neo Requiem, Lost Temple, Neo Hall of Valhalla.
Format: Four 8-player tournaments, single elimination, Bo3, each will be played on a single old school map, $250 prize and a ticket to the Grand Finale for the four Winners.
Groups:
1.[Nostalgia] - IefNaij, White-Ra, Gretorp, XiaOzi, Gosia, HoRRoR, IdrA, Arew.
2.[Lost Temple] - Mondragon, iNcontroL, CaStrO, AeriALs, Yosh, iNferNaL, Fenix, MaNa.
3.[Neo Requiem] - TT1, Louder, Sen, Haypro, Ret, BRAT_OK, MistrZZZ, DinOt.
4.[Neo Hall of Valhalla] - Strelok, Eriador, Advokate, Kollll, Artosis, Datoby, fraer, Oystein.
Grand Finale will feature four-man double elimination tournament; winner will be awarded $500.
The first two groups will be played on the weekend of October 17th, final two groups - on the weekend of October 24th. The Final Tournament is scheduled for the weekend of October 31st.
The event will be streamed and live-casted by Day[9] and others.
Killer line-up, old school maps, juicy cash prizes and live streaming with commentary, it just doesn't get better.
