A pretty short game. LzGamer opened up with 2-Gate Zealots and Probes push, versus a standard fast expo by XiaOzi, although the Zerg took the distant expansion first, and then the Natural as a 3rd. Needless to say, Zealots faded away very quickly after a failed attack, being chased by a considerable number of Zerglings. After that it all went kind of automatic, Zerg got all the expos up and running, Protoss took natural, but it was way too late. The first stack of 6 Mutas easily cleared Protoss main of all the probes, i.e. GG. 1:0 XiaOzi.

Right off the bat XiaOzi went for tricky play, placing a ninja expo at 3 o'clock. LzGamer, who switched to Zerg, took a standard 12-pool-Lair-Hatch approach. At first it looked out like XiaOzi's gamble paid off, as his ninja move was discovered only at a 5-minute point. By that time he had more than double LzGamer's lings, although his spire was a couple of seconds behind. At 6:10 LzGamer easily wiped out all of XiaOzi Mutas in one big battle, leading to a drone mayhem on a "not at all" secret expansion. XiaOzi managed to squeeze in a couple of spores to protect his main and the expo, while harassing Lz's workers with a couple of lings, but the effort deemed useless, as XiaOzi was unable to catch up with Muta and Scourge count, therefore losing the expansion, spores and a spire to LzGamer's lings, who were nicely covered by Mutas. 1:1.

Pretty short and straightforward game. XiaOzi opened up with 12-pool, LzGamer with 9-pool, both went directly to fast Muta without an additional Hatchery, XiaOzi, however, wisely put up a sunk. A few moments later LzGamer moved in with a group of Zerglings for some harassment, killing 2 drones but losing the lings in the process. He attempted another attack by 5:30, - an unsuccessful one. XiaOzi, however, managed to sneak two lings in LzGamer's main and got a one-drone retaliation of sorts. It all ended in the very first Muta + Scourge fight. Who won the battle? You guessed it. 2:1 XiaOzi.

LzGamer back to Protoss for this one. Fast expansion build from Protoss, 12-Pool-Natural-3rd by Zerg. LzGamer practically went straight to Corsair-DTs, with a single Canon and one Zealot on defense versus six Zerglings and Muta build for XiaOzi. 7:55 is when the game really began. Protoss squeezed in a 3rd expansion, more zealots, Corsairs, DT and even a few Templars. Meanwhile Zerg already had more than half a dozen Mutas out, accompanied by Scourge, with Hydra Den already up and running at the 3 o'clock expansion. After a decent enough Muta harassment by XiaOzi, killing a few Probes, damaging the newly built expansion and losing a few Mutas himself, comes Zerg's switch to Hydra army. There's no action whatsoever in the game up until 12:00, except for Zerg taking expansions at 12 o'clock and the one on bottom right. First big fight comes just 30 seconds later, while both players are even at about 120 supply. With a help of a few lucky storms, LzGamer managed to cut Zerg's army to 90 supply, killing large number of Zerglings, Hydras and all but one Mutalisk, while only losing a few zealots and "empty" Templars. At the time of the battle players have 1:0 (Z) and 0:0:1 (P) upgrades, respectively. Just a few minutes before it all ended, Protoss took the top left expansion and executed a successful zealot drop in Zerg's main, destroying the Spawning Pool. 16:00 - Exodus Time. Protoss moves in to Zerg fortified part of mid-map, (P) 180 vs (Z) 142 supply. LzGamer quickly disposes of all the Lurkers, storm take care of a decent number of hydras, and, after a quick regroup Protoss goes for a kill. Bottom left Zerg expo is dead, so is most of the Zerg's army. GG. 2-2.

Guess what, LzGamer back to Zerg again (seriously, man, like a 16y/o girl, just make up your mind already). Then again, XiaOzi opens with fast Muta, Lz goes for the classic 12-pool-sunk-Lair. An interesting spin comes a minute later, with XiaOzi attempting a Sunk Rush on Lz's main. Although the rush didn't work out, it forced LzGamer to take drones off minerals for a few seconds, as well as to place 2 additional sunks. 6:00 both players just literally streamline their newly mutated air units into opponent's main, mass Scourge for Lz, Muta only for XiaOzi. A few moments later LzGamer changes his mind and returns on his main, while XiaOzi does a full on Muta harassment killing 3 of the opponents drones and almost all Scourge as well. 9:00, having a clear economic and military advantage XiaOzi takes a natural, while LzGamer is still trying to squeeze in some extra Mutas and lings. The whole series come to conclusion exactly 45 seconds later, as LzGamer tries to push with 42 supply versus 51 of XiaOzi. All those extra minerals and gas do their job, as the push is destroyed and we observe a series ending GG. 3-2 XiaOzi.

It's fair to say, that all five games were very high class, both players gave it their best, which is why both of them move on into Gosucup playoffs. Tot)XiaOzi( as a winner of 3 (count them, three!) Gosucup tournaments, and EG.LzGamer as a finalist. Replays are available in our very own replay section.
