Greg "IdrA" Fields, Grzegorz "Dreiven" Kordek and Jos "ret" de Kroon are set for the second round of the ESL Major Series, after coming out victorious in the first round.Only foreign progamer residing in Korea, IdrA, was able to defeat German hope Mondragon in three straight games. The Terran mechanist will go up against the winner between Jian Fei "IefNaij" Wang and Vytautas "Arew" Graiciunas, as the game between the two was postponed.
Recent DreamHack Summer champion, ret, was able to play out Chilean Cristóbal "DinOt" Lledó by a 3-1 score. The Zerg youngster took the win on Colosseum, but other than that the Terran vs. Zerg specialist came out comfortably.
The derby between Polish players Dreiven and Tomek "Sawyer" proved to be a close call, as the players took one game each. It had to be settled to the last game on Andromeda where the Polish ESC-Gaming player could edge out on top.
Next round sees Dreiven play ret, and IdrA against the winner between IefNaij and Arew. The lower bracket has Sawyer and DinOt locking horns, while Mondragon must await the loser between IefNaij and Arew.
