A Viewers Guide to Overwatch Open's EU Groups
After two days of matches between the NA teams, it's now up to the EU teams to decide who will face EnVyUs in the Grand Finals.
Due to the way the Overwatch Open is set up, no cross-region matches will be played before the televized Grand Finals on Friday. The NA groupstage and playoffs started on Sunday and ended on Monday, and today and the tomorrow it will be up to the EU teams to try their hardest and make it to the Grand FInals where they will have to face the no. 1 ranked team in our GosuRankings: Team EnVyUs.
Today at 7 PDT / 10 EDT / 16 CEST
Only 4 teams will make it through the Double Elimination Group Stage, 2 from each group. With the recent absence of public competition between these top teams, and Europe's history of a very close top tier, it is hard to predict what teams have used their time to prepare the best and who will stand a chance against EnVy at all.
Last week, some of the crew shared their predictions for the whole event, which you can find here.
Enjoy the Overwatch Open while it lasts, as it is bringing a level of production to the table that is not often available!
