We talked with Malik about his thoughts on developing esports production, balancing expectations in journalism, and other topics. Malik was of course the dedicated interviewer during the LAN phase of the Overwatch Open, but has been around ever since he competitively played Rainbow Six. Since then he has worked in the gaming scene on and offscreen, and is now a journalist for the Bleacher Report. For any aspiring journalist, this interview is a gold mine of great tidbits to increasing the quality coverage in the industry.
