Zenless Zone Zero reveals new S-Ranks Velina and Norma from Version 3.0's Roscaelifer region

Two new Version 3.0 Agents have been locked in.

HoYoverse has officially revealed two new playable Agents coming to Zenless Zone Zero’s upcoming Version 3.0 update: Velina and Norma. Both Agents were previously introduced in the game’s recent story chapters, and are now confirmed to hail from the Roscaelifer External Strategy Department.

Who is Velina in Zenless Zone Zero 3.0?

Zenless Zone Zero Season 3 is kicking off imminently, with the game’s big Version 3.0 update set to make its debut sometime in June this year. This week, developer HoYoverse introduced Version 3.0’s two headlining banner characters, starting with Velina Airgid. Velina is a notable addition to the playable roster, as she comes with an all-new combat attribute: Wind. Her specialty is Anomaly.

In a newly-released Agent Record, Velina is described as the head of the Roscaelifer External Strategy Department. Roscaelifer refers to the floating city of the same name above New Eridu, which will soon serve as the main setting for Season 3’s upcoming storyline, and a brand-new region for players to explore in-game.

Velina is also described by Norma (more on her later) as a “highly efficient problem solver,” though an unnamed External Strategy Department Officer hints that she has a darker side, warning that “She’ll fix your mess alright, but the way she goes about it…”

A hibernating Bangboo in Roscaelifer also refers to Velina as a “silver-haired witch,” seemingly in a derogatory fashion.

Who is Norma in Zenless Zone Zero 3.0?

Normal Hollowell is Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0’s second playable S-Rank Agent, following the reveal of Velina. They make an apt duo for this version update, seeing as they have been spotted together multiple times during recent story updates–albeit, not in a starring role just yet. Norma is a Fire Stun Agent.

Normal also hails from the Roscaelifer External Strategy Department, serving as its Chief Technician and working with Velina. Her Agent Record points towards her having a hotheaded, if not altogether violent personality, as Velina has to scold her for insulting their customers’ hair. A Bangboo also sadly recounts falling for her “trap” to a support group called “Norma’s Victims Support Group.”

Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0 does not have a release date yet. Version 3.0 will also new an all-new combat form for the Phaeton themselves: Pyrois.
