Lohen is a new addition to the Knights of Favonius.
Alongside Nicole Reeyn, Lohen has been revealed to headline Genshin Impact's upcoming Version Luna VII. Lohen is a relatively new character who officially made his appearance as a non-playable character in Varka's story quest, so much of the information we have of him is shrouded in mystery.
However, Lohen's introduction also shows a new expansion to Mondstadt's Knights of Favonius, as his appearance will also introduce a new faction within the organisation: the Fifth Company.
Who is Lohen in Genshin Impact?
From his anecdote, it seems that Lohen is as brave as he is decisive. He acts as the Vice Captain of the Knights of Favonius Ranged Company, and although he commands a platoon of knights who favour bows as their main weapon choice, Lohen prefers to use his spear because “stabbing with [my] spear is faster and more accurate than firing an arrow.”
Lohen is also described by Varka as someone who fights because he likes it, not because he's searching for glory or honour. Varka also posits that Lohen is tougher than him, and that his special charisma inspires companions to follow him into battle–no matter how crazy his tactics can get.
Lohen and his company followed Varka during his expedition to Nod-Krai, and was one of many knights who fought against the Wild Hunt. Following Rerir's defeat however, Lohen and his company would be sent back to Mondstadt, where they are now readjusting to a more peaceful time.
What Vision and Weapon will Lohen have?
According to his reveal, Lohen will wield a Cryo vision, and will wield a polearm as his weapon of choice. Judging from how he is described, it's likely that Lohen will be a DPS character.
When is Lohen coming out in Genshin Impact?
Lohen will join the character roster in Version Luna VII. If the current release schedule of Genshin Impact persists, it is likely that he will be dropping sometime in July 2026.
