Nicole will headline Version Luna VII as the first official playable character affiliated with the Hexenzirkel.
Genshin Impact has unveiled the first new playable character for the upcoming Version Luna VII update: Nicole Reeyn, codename “N” of the enigmatic Hexenzirkel, the illustrious and mysterious group of witches that have played major roles in the story of the game so far.
Who is Nicole in Genshin Impact?
Nicole Reeyn is a survivor of the Angel race – a race of beings directly created by the Heavenly Principles with the purpose of guiding humanity. Due to her divine origin, Nicole is known as a prophetess who possesses knowledge of Teyvat's direction and order, and is said to have offered help and guidance to those in need.
However, when the Angels were cursed to become mindless Seelies as punishment for Koitar's rebellion, she became one of the very few to retain her power, although losing the ability to talk. She instead communicates through people's minds.
Nicole is sort of a guiding character for players; we first encountered her all the way back at the tail-end of the Fontaine Quest line, and would also hear her voice during Chapter V Act VI: A Space and Time for You. She also played a major role during the Song of the Welkin Moon Nod-Krai quests, becoming a key figure in taking down Il Dottore once and for all.
What Vision and weapon will Nicole have?
Nicole is revealed to wield a Pyro vision, however, a weapon preference is yet unknown. Her kit is also yet to be revealed.
When is Nicole coming out in Genshin Impact?
Nicole will join the character roster in Version Luna VII. If the current release schedule of Genshin Impact persists, it is likely that she will be dropping sometime in early July 2026.
