Aino is joining Genshin Impact’s roster of playable characters alongside Lauma.
Besides Lauma, it has been revealed that Aino is also set to debut in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 6.0 update. Based on the trend of how Genshin Impact has teased its upcoming playable characters in the past, it’s safe to assume that Aino will be a four-star character.
Aino brings more lore for Ineffa in Genshin Impact Version 6.0
We’ve known for a while now that Aino is related to Ineffa, as it’s been revealed through Ineffa’s teasers that Aino was the one who made her.
Aino is associated with the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop of Nod-Krai, and is known as a genius inventor with the inclination to create unique robotic inventions. She lives alongside the outskirts of Nasha Town with Ineffa (before they were parted due to unknown events in Version 5.8) and her other creations, whom she considers as her own family.
Aino is described as living life with a simple creed: “invent interesting mechanical wonders for fun, and when not tinkering away, enjoy the best snack in the world–Ineffa’s freshly-baked krumkakes.”
Aino is revealed to be somewhat egotistical, as she enjoys basking in the praise she gets due to her work. She also seems to be playful, as Ineffa points out that one of the fastest ways to be friends with her is through asking her to play often.
Aino will have a Hydro vision, although her preferred weapon of choice and playstyle is yet to be known. Considering that she’s affiliated with Ineffa however, we can assume that their kits will most likely synergise with each other.
