This recon unit has the same role in the Protoss military as in StarCraft/Brood War. Designed for combat-zone scouting, this unit is one of the most essential parts of any Protoss forces. It's only downfall lies in its defensive capabilities, leaving it helpless against any enemy force capable of firing upon it.
The page describes in detail how it's cloaking field operates among other things. It has a specially designed signature sensor that will keep it's energy from draining, allowing its micro-cloaking field to hide it from enemy forces. This unit can also reveal other cloaked units on the battlefield as well as archiving wasteland exporation data.
