Battlecruiser docks in for StarCraft II

More of the terran heavies continue to arrive, with the battlecruiser weighing in officially for StarCraft II.

Closely matching the look of the original game, the battlecruisers' iconic shadow will be cast over its foes once again. Starcraft2.com has revealed the battlecruiser with all new screenshots and gameplay material, as well as some of the proud history associated with this stalwart of the Terran fleet.

Shiny new upgrade: Plasma Torpedoes

Now alongside the always impressive Yamoto Gun, the option to instead install area-effect Plasma Torpedoes should help thin out those pesky ground forces. How differently this unit plays in the new game remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: this is one unit that has just gotten better.
