iG share's center stage with Chuan

The Dota2 portion of the WCG 2012 was composed of 9 elite teams that battled it out for this year's WCG title and the $20,000 cash prize. No Chuan? No problem, iG defeated DK to come on top of the competition.

It was another impressive performance by iG and DK wherein they would finish the group stage with an undefeated record. They eventually met each other in the finals where iG would end the winning streak of DK and later on ending their run with a 2-0 record.

Invictus Gaming played with ChisBug as a replacement for Chuan.

On the battle for third, an unexpected team rose to the occasion as Devil Mice from Belarus defeated Orange eSports 2-0, not letting them gain momentum. They are now a team to look out for in the future.

WCG 2012 Dota2 Final Standing:
Champion - China Invictus Gaming - $20,000
2nd Place - China DK - $9,000
3rd Place - Belarus Devil Mice - $4,000
