First Departure Victorious on SG Qualifiers

First Departure rode on a perfect record en route to winning the GEST Dota 2 Singapore Qualifier which finished last October 7.

A team seen before on RGC's APDL, they were practically forgotten until they won this qualifying tournament. They even defeated arguablly the 3 most recognized teams on the qualifiers - Invasion.My, Harosh and Xplicit. They defeated the latter 2-0 on the event finals.

First Departure thus earned a slot to the 16-team main tournament, to start at the 3rd November. In the process, they also became the 4th qualified Singaporean team. That tournament will award the winner $1,000 and the runner-up $500. The top 2 teams on the main tournament will also get the chance to play against iG and LGD and win another prize money pot of $1,500.
