A good year after its inception, Pinoy Gaming Festival (PGF) is now back, and it appears to be bigger than ever.
The game titles involved have been increased from 2 (the previous year) to 8! To cater the ever-increasing popularity of E-Sports in the country, PGF have decided to hold the event at SMX Convention Center (SMX) Hall 3, this October 27-28, 2012.
The games involved are as follows:

The WC3 DotA, Starcraft II, Dragon Nest and League of Legends events will be the respective Championship Legs for the Gigabyte Mineski Pro Gaming League (GMPGL) Season 4. WC3 DotA will also feature the playoffs of the National Collegiate Cyber League's (NCCL) second season.
Meanwhile, Dota 2, CS:GO, Crossfire and World of Tanks (7x7) will be open for public. Rapture Gaming Network, the event organizer, will allow as many as 32 teams to enter these Open Registration Titles.
Aside from the prestigious Championship trophy and the bragging rights to being the best Philippine team, winners from various titles will also receive some very perky national distinctions. Among these are:
-PH representative on DotA to participate in the upcoming Sendi Mutiara Multimedia (SMM) 2012 Malaysia, arguably the biggest WCIII DotA LAN event, care of Gigabyte and Mineski
-PH representative on Crossfire and World of Tanks in the upcoming World Cyber Games (WCG) 2012 China
-PH representative on Dota 2 and CS:GO in the upcoming Asian Cyber Games (ACG) 2012 Malaysia
Of course, this treat will not only be for the players, but for the fans as well. All stage matches will be streamed live via the organizer's (Rapture Gaming Network) and partner's (Mineski) websites. Tickets will also be sold at Php 70 / event day while supplies last, so fans can also watch their favorite players compete up-close and personal. The audience will also be greeted by the newest hardware, colorful cosplays and a surplus of gaming merchandises.
