Around one month has passed since the second edition of The International found their winner in Invictus Gaming. Atre from Dota Commentaries had the chance to sit down with their player Hock 'ChuaN' Wong for an interview.
In that interview ChuaN talked about the reasons, why they decided to switch from Dota 1 to Dota 2. Eventhough there were many Dota tournaments going on they had the goal to participate at The International 2. ChuaN also says, that it was very hard in the beginning, to play against the European teams. He learned a lot from them, especially tactical wise.
Tuski_atre: The first time you faced the European teams in an official tournament was for Beyond The Summit – World Tour and after in ProDota2. What did you think of the European teams when facing against them for the first time?
ChuaN: The European teams were very strong. Not only that, but we also got to learn a lot of strategy from them that I had never see before, and did know how to counter.
Tuski_atre: Now we move into the big leagues: The International. What was your team’s reaction when you first landed in Seattle and went to Valve office?
ChuaN: Oh my f*ck god , that’s all that I can say LOL! Too nice!
