Open qualification tournaments for the remaining two slots of ESWC have been announced. They will be split into East and West.
The Electronic Sports World Cup copies the model of The International: With only two slots remaining for the main tournament, they will be distributed in two open tournaments.
Both tournaments will be held from 5 October to 7 October and will be hosted by joinDOTA in open tournaments. Teams from France, United States, China, Algeria and Kosovo are not allowed to qualify through these open qualifiers, as they have national qualifiers.
The ESWC Grand Finals will be played from 1 November to 4 November at the Paris Games Week, in Hall 1 at Porte de Versailles in Paris, France. The prize money for the tournament has not yet been announced. Qualifying teams from the international qualifiers have to take care of their travel and accommodation costs on their own.
