Here is the official announcement of new Virtus.pro Dota 2 roster:
Sergey 'KSi' Kuzin (C)
Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznecov Alexander 'Santa' Koltan Oleg 'Crazy' Kolensichenko Ilya 'Airman Ga Taosenai' Pevcaev (aka 'Illidan')Everyone knows more or less about 'NS' and 'Santa' as they were part of the previous roster but what about the rest of the new team?
'KSi' and 'Crazy' could be spotted in games for zNation. 'KSi' was the captain of that team and therefore has the necessary knowledge and experience for this position and will now lead VP to new heights. 'Crazy' left ZNation about a month ago and just now found a place in a new team. He will be primarily playing the solo mid role.
'Airman Ga Taosenai' (formerly known under nickname 'Illidan') is new to the pro scene. Before joining VP he took part in several non-pro tournaments with different teams. He proved to be a good carry player and therefore was picked for the new VP roster.
Comment from Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznecov:
"I am very glad that we can finally announce the final version of our roster. Perhaps many of the fans and players expected to see other people, especially since many teams after TI2 collapsed and the transfer market was full of suggestions. But we, at this time, have decided to go our own way and have paid more attention to the not so well-known, young players. The composition turned out quite good, and above it all very comfortable with each other. I hope that we will show a good DotA in the near future and we will not deceive the expectations of our fans, to whom I would like to say a special thank you!"
Comment from Sergey 'KSi' Kuzin:
"First of all I want to thank the organization for the opportunity to become a part of the famous organization. We have to go through a lot of what would become a well-established team. We are all motivated and willing to go for the sake of a common goal, and now more than ever we need your support"
Comment from the manager of the team Vladislav 'TeSt' Bulatov:
"The latest news about our team has been a long time ago, but we did not lose this time for nothing. During this period we have tested quite a few good players, played a decent amount of tournaments in different compositions, and it's all been done to find the people who matched not only skill-wise, but also on personal qualities. Now I can say that all who are in this line-up did not have a problem with time, motivation, computer, girls, or with anything else. From the organization we would like to say that we will make every effort so this roster would live a long time, and please the fans with excellent results."
