After missing out on the International it was time for MUFC to show what they had in store at the WCG MY Regional Finals. The team they faced was none other than Orange, who finished top8 at The International, hungry for more. Orange had reached the WCG MY Finals with the winner bracket advantage in a best of three game. Below is a brief review of the final two games.
GAME 1
Already with an advantage in best of three game Orange would have loved to end it and pronounce themselves as winners. But MUFC refused to go down so easily. In this game MUFC had AoE damage dealers and Lone Druid who almost had his Relic done by the 12-min mark. The Radiance completely countered TA from Orange. MUFC had perfect positioning and timings during their ganks and won most of the fights. Even Yamateh's vast farm in a short duration of time could not save Orange from a defeat and hence MUFC equals the score after game 1. With the scores tied at 1-1 the match moves up into the decider game.
GAME 2
Orange this time learned from their past mistakes. Orange never allowed Ken who was on Pudge to settle down with kills. They kept a close eye on him with the help of wards all over and avoided giving away any good positions to MUFC in ganks. Sharky on TA was really big and caused for issues on Orange's hands. But Orange's Tidehunter waited patiently for all the Bkb's to wear off, landing a successful ravage. Failure to remove Tide when they had their Bkb's popped up and good play by Yamateh on Invoker as well as a good play by Mushi on Queen of Pain guided Orange to a safe victory. Thus claiming themselves as the winners of WCG MY Finals with a 2:1 well deserved victory.
With Orange emerging victorious as the winner we present you the WCG bracket
