TI: Old friends clash in TI Day 2 opening round - PREVIEW

The second day of The International kicks off at 18:00 CET, with another 48 games for your viewing pleasure. And it starts with old friends going head-to-head in Group A.

Opening up today's games is Zenith versus Counter Logic Gaming, a special match for Zenith's Swede Jonathan "Loda" Berg who used to be the CLG skipper. Add to that two China versus Europe matches with LGD taking on Moscow 5 and DK eSports going up against Mousesports. The fourth and last game of the first round will be Evil Geniuses locking horns with Absolute Legends.

Singaporean side Zenith came off at a bad start, but are looking to right their wrongs and win their remaining matches to have a better position for the playoffs. A 1-5 loss thus far, captain Benedict "hyhy" Lim and his men are dead last in Group A.

Second-to-last, and third-to-last, Mousesports and Moscow 5, will continue their struggle at 18:00 as well as they go up against DK eSports and LGD respectively. M5 managed to go 1-1 against Absolute Legends and Mousesports, but due to the stunning performance of CLG, the Russians will be going into the second round with the hopes of doing better than a 2-4 result.

At 20:00 tonight we will have another all-Chinese clash with EHOME taking on TongFu in Group B. EHOME came out of day one with a 3-3 score, while TongFu were one notch more successful, with a 4-2 score after a stellar game-play versus Darer (2-0), mTw (1-1) and Orange (1-1).
