According to the minds of regular DOTA2 players, being the team drafter is not an easy job to handle. But in the minds of Team Orange eSports's picker, the position as a leader is not too stressful for him.
Here's an in-depth look at what xTincT had to say in the interview:
Why were you choosen as the team drafter, and how do you feel about the position that has been handed to you?
XtincT: I was chosen for that spot because my team believes that I am suitable for the role as the team hero. For me, the position is not too stressful as opposed to what others might think, and that's because when we plan and discuss our draft, my team-mates would voice out their opinion, and the strategies would be concluded as team.
What do you see in your professional gaming carreer in the coming years ahead?
XtincT: I've been playing for seven years now, and in the first few years, I was able to sustain my career with the prizemoney I gained from various competitions. But currently, with the support from Orange eSports that provides our gaming needs, I feel much better. I think that in the upcoming years, if there were to be more sponsorships, I would definitely consider on proceeding my professional gaming career. However, i think that the eSports career in Malaysia is still not too encouraging now.
Who would you choose as your one roomate in the championship ? Tell us why..
XtincT: I would definitely choose 'Ice' Chua Chee Cai as my roomate because out of all the other team members that slept over in my place, I found out that it was easier to wake up Ice compared to the other players.
Which are your preferred heros in the game ? Tell us a little on your strategy in this championship.
XtincT: Preferably, I would choose heroes who can maintain itself even when it's doing it's job in the jungle while keeping itself neat and efficient economically. Other than that, I would say "Visage" is one of my favorites, but I think that it doesn't do very well in this version as I think it lacks ability to push and it's lacking it's power on clearing enemy troops. I'm sure the other competing teams have also been observing us, and watching our replays as we did similarly to them in our training. My strategy is to prepare myself in ways that my opponent might come out with to counter my hero so that I can act accordingly to maintain my status in the game.
Orange eSports have less than a week before they can prove their notoreity in The International, will xTincT along with WinteR, Mushi, Ice, Yamateh, and Ky.Xy get their hands onto the divine prize? TI2 is coming up, and the intensity is rushing!
