Fnatic has revealed Tim"PowerNet" Moon to be the first player and the captain, for their North American Dota 2 lineup.
After coming into spotlight originally with teams such as BP and Ok.Nv.Int in DotA, where he showed immense potential and steadfast performances with the carry role, PowerNet will now join FnaticRC. In the recent past, we've even seen him play for teams such as Captain Planet, ezStyle and GoSu.

A new beginning for Dota 2 on FnaticRC today! We have been looking to expand our base into North America and we didn't find the right people to work with.
When we did look at exisitng teams around individuals we came across Tim and in subsequent conversations it became quickly clear that he was someone we wanted to work with him. In the coming weeks we will be assembling and putting our team together, we understand such things don't happen overnight but we have the patience and with Tim's dedication I am sure we will reach something positive.
Tim will be also streaming shortly via own3d and you can follow his games and the construction of this team on our website. Also for the concerned people out there, this is not the end of our European team they will happily co-exist with our North American one. Exciting weeks ahead, special shout outs to RaidCall, MSI, SteelSeries, EIZO & own3d.
The decision to retain two functional DOTA 2 squads, is preceded by a similar move that was made a year ago by China's Invictus Gaming. Only time will tell how this will work out for the european eSports giant.
Tim will be available for a live Q&A and couple of friendly matches in Fnatic's room at RaidCall (1337) on Friday, 19:00 CET (13:00 EST).
