GosuLeague: Keita, Moscow Five to open Division 1 - Playday 1 preview

Welcome to season three of GosuLeague. The $5,000 USD season kicks off tomorrow with Keita-Gaming and Moscow Five opening the league at 15:00 CET.

The Swedes in Keita-Gaming, lead by Mathias "bonzajajaj" Andersson will be starting this weekend with a GosuLeague clash against Russian side Moscow Five. The two ended at a split fifth place last season. Grabbing two points in the first playday of the division is surely in both teams' interest in order to get a dashing start.

As promised in the first season, GosuLeague can present an upgraded prize pool of $5,000 USD, where the winner of the season walks home with $2,500. Runner-ups get $1,500 and third place get the $1,000 consolidation prize. All this is made possible thanks to our tournament partners ROCCAT Savu, Sapphire Technology and Twitch.tv.

GosuLeague continues with its two-playday per week, where Tuesday-Wednesday and Saturday-Sunday are the possible days for teams to play. And as the first day gives us one match, the second day on Sunday will treat us three amazing facedowns.

NEXT.kz, Kazakstan quintet, was only one game short of reaching the top three after losing the third place tiebreaker versus Darer. They enter the season with a match against newcomers Copenhagen Wolves on Sunday at 16:00.

The Sunday then continue with Darer playing the second division 1 rookie HelloMoto. The two have never played each other in any official tournament match, but with Darer's history and current form they have been given the favourship of the clash.

To round off the first playday in division 1, nemeses Mousesports and mTw will lock horns at 21:00 in a revenge match from last season's top two finishers.
