The quick downfall of Virtus Pro's starstudded Dota team did not only leave a bitter taste in the fans' mouths. In an interview by prodota.ru first VP-member to depart, Andrew 'Dread' Golubev, reaches back to a verbal sweeping blow aimed at his former teammates and the management, claiming that the project was bound to fail.

The gathering of stars for what seemed destined to be a new European powerhouse started in early May this year when Golubev and his longterm companions Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznetsov and Alexander 'Santa' Koltan teamed up with ex-GGnet stars Kuro 'KuroKy' Salehi Takhasomi and Nikola 'Azen' Belyakov.

Roughly one month and a series of underwhelming performances later Virtus Pro attended the western qualifier of The International 2 with Roman 'Scandal' Sadotenkov instead of Golubev who states that he had unexpectedly been kicked by that time already.

The allegations related to the incident are lesser aimed at the organization itself rather than figurehead NS alongside his former teammates, who he accuses of being unprincipled for not standing up to him regarding the decision.

In addition to regular disagreements between him and the management, Golubev further blames a slack training schedule for the inglorious ending of VP. Language barrier or his personal performance did not create issues, Golubev said.

The interview further covers his opinion on Darer's captain Ivan 'ArtStyle' Antonov, his first steps in the broadcasting business and future plans in Dota 2 and life beyond gaming.
