It's Gosu acquires Captain Planet

After a string of recent successes including being the first team to qualify for GosuLeague, Captain Planet's Dota 2 journey has taken a turn for the better. After deciding to drop their original squad, It's Gosu have announced their acquisition of Captain Planet under their wing as their latest Dota 2 lineup for the year.

The team formerly known as EZ Style has been dropped by the organisation citing 'unresolvable internal issues' despite achievements in joinDOTA Masters II and the first season of StarLadder. It seems the quintet of Korok, Universe, PAINTITGOLD, Bulba, and bdiz will, for now, fall without a sponsor to their name.

Meanwhile, the move to acquire Captain Planet was ultimately born out of their recent spotlight in the ECAL showmatch against World Elite as well as their victory at GosuLeague Qualifier #1. Two of the team's players, 1437 and PowerNet, have even played for It's Gosu at one point in time before joining their current team.

"It is unfortunate to have to release our current lineup. However this decision needed to be made in order to secure longevity and stability within our Dota 2 lineup. I will say that all of the players we are releasing are truly incredible players, and some very awesome people. I hope to keep in touch with them, and I still expect to see some big things from them in the future. I hope the whole community continues to keep an eye on them to see where they go, as wherever it may be, they will be successful."

Having worked with 1437 and Power.Net before, I can't even tell you how excited I am to work with them again. Their potential is incredible, and I am so happy to know that we will be able to help them in achieving their goals. We also look forward to working with Demise, Koreya, and Celdur as well. With how highly 1437 and Power.Net speak of them, I am sure they will be able to continue to show our fans some exciting games! I would like to thank our fans for their support so far, and I hope you will continue to provide support to our new roster! I am just so happy to welcome them home!"
