Dignitas, NEXT.kz to open first €500 joinDOTA Masters series

Europe, Asia and America will come together in the joinDOTA Masters, an invitational series in five pieces. The first edition kicks off tonight at 18:45 CET with NEXT.kz against Dignitas.

Toby "TobiWanKenobi" Dawson and joinDOTA announced five "short intense tournaments" yesterday in a series they call joinDOTA Masters, which will be played in best-of-one single elimination format. The winning team out of each "Master" will bring home €500 Euro.

While the first edition will feature familiar European and American teams CLG, Dignitas, NEXT, eSahara, EG, Wolves, Replika and Mouz; the third and fourth editions will showcase the star-studded South East Asian and Chinese sides.

Tonight's starting match in the two-day tournament has NEXT.kz and Team Dignitas in each ring side. The two teams recently locked horns in the Team Dignitas Dota 2 Invitational, seeing NEXT.kz overthrow the home-field team. Tonight the Romanian side has the opportunity to avenge themselves.
