Orange and Mineski enter semifinals of Razer Dota 2

It was a long day for spectators at the Razer Dota 2 tournament today as the international teams made their debut at the Suntec Convention Center in Singapore. Hosted by Razer with a prizepool of $4,000, the conclusion of Day 1 saw Mineski, Orange and Aeon successfully entering the semifinals.

The day proceeded well as expected with Mineski and Aeon proving that they deserved their place in the competition by overpowering lesser known teams Nazgul and P' respectively without dropping a sweat.

Meanwhile, it came down to the last quarterfinal match between Orange and MYM, which also happened to be the last match of the day. Having reformed with a completely new Singaporean roster consisting of ex-Immortality and Aeon players, the powerhouse lineup of Hyhy and iceiceice seemed more than eager to take the game from Orange.

Despite securing a strong turtle hero (Dark Seer) for their Spectre, Orange's aggressive pushing lineup of Leshrac and Broodmother forced the Singaporean outfit to take refuge in conservative play and base defense.

It was the Malaysian team who eventually had the upperhand and emerged victorious from the best of one matchup. As we anticipate tomorrow's semi finals, do note that joinDOTA's TobiWan will be providing a smoother and familiar stream for all those tuning in live tomorrow.

Day 2 (Tomorrow)

Mineski and GoG will open tomorrow's playday at 05:30 CET followed by Orange vs Aeon at 07:00 CET. Mineski look set to enter the grand finals while Orange will have one more hurdle to pass as they face Singapore's second powerhouse.

Stay tuned for more.
