EG enter the playoffs after a 4-1 score, sharing the lead in group B2 with Na`Vi. Except founding member Fear, the team naturally pieced itself together and reestablished the winning collective that dominated the European online tournaments as MYM until The International lead to a massive change in the clan scene. The only missing player of their golden area, MaNia, now stands on the opposing front. Although the organization is a different one today, EG stack up countless hours of shared DotA and Dota 2 experience.
In The Defense, EG showed consistant performances so far and look a lot better than what the 13th rank on the GosuGamers board may convey.

What makes today's match interesting is that MaNia will get to face his old colleagues within a solidified lineup that gained enourmous strength ever since the attendance of the Intel Challenge SuperCup playoffs in late summer last year. Following another impressive showing at ESWC the young Danish squad gained the attention of SK and ended up being sent to DreamHack, their fourth LAN in 2011.
