A promising new Dota 2 league allows teams to register and play for up to $1,000 in cash every season. Hosted by the Cyber eSports Gaming League, each season will run for two months and everyone is invited to participate.
At the end of each season, the top ten teams will be entered into a tournament which will then take place over one weekend (with matches possibly streamed). The winner(s) will stand a chance of taking home the $1,000 prize pool. For those without a team, visit the CEGL website for more information on how you can source for your teammates and participate in the league.
At the moment, CEGL will be geared towards the American/European side with a beta league starting soon for two weeks to allow the formation of teams as it ushers in its first season.
