Due to greater-than-anticipated interest, qualifiers for the DotaReplays Brawl had to be expanded from 16 teams to 40. To accommodate these additional teams, the format was changed; the top eight teams are seeded directly into the first qualifier tournament while the remaining 32 battled it out for the remaining eight spots.
