With the coming of the holiday season, there's been a bit of a lull in the competitive scene. That lull seems to be coming to an end, as Dota2Replays.org has announced a new tournament in association with Twitch.tv, SteelSeries and TeamSpeak.

The Dota2Replays Brawl will feature four single elimination qualifiers, each with up to sixteen teams. The four winners will play off against one another in a double elimination tournament for a total prizepool of $6,000.
SteelSeries will be providing hardware for the winning team. In addition to live Dota 2 action, viewers of the livestream will be eligible for prizes including cash and beta keys.
The tournament will kick off on January 15 with the first qualifiers. For further information, keep an eye on the tournament page.
