Malaysia-based Orange Esports and Thailand team MiTH.Trust advanced to the winner bracket final in the Dota2 Malaysia Invitational, broadcasted by GosuGamers.
The second home side team MuFc was pushed down to the loser bracket after a tough blow to Mineski in the first round. Team skipper Sharky made sure their existence in the tournament would not end on day one, as they defeated Thailand team Neolution Esports and the Singaporean side AEON in the running loser bracket.
Singaporean squad MeetYourMakers was unable to live up to their predecessor's merits as they lost to MiTH.Trust in the first round. They were able to bounce back against jumbo predicted Brunei team RedSpade, but eventually lost to Mineski in the coming round.
The tournament continues tomorrow at 03:00 CET with the winner bracket final between Orange and MiTH.Trust as well as the loser bracket semi final between MuFc and Mineski.
