Due to Wild Honey Badgers coming out of the open qualifier and joining two invited teams, as high-caliber contestant, the second group guaranteed for a lot more interesting matches than the first.
As forecasts by players of all invited teams predicted, syndereN's new team came out strong and managed to win all games. Alongside TeamShakira, WHB won a group as non-sponsored teams, whereas the European powerhouses SK and Fnatic fall behind.
