GoD, EMC and TeG fill up 'The Defense' groups

After having reserved three slots in the group stage of 'The Defense' for public applications, familiar names of classic DotA did not hesitate to try their luck. Due to previous achievements, Gods of DotA, Emocore and the Elder Gods are the squads to find themselves in the high caliber field of invited teams and will attend the battle for a share of 10,000€.

With todays announcement at the freshly launched tournement homepage joinDOTA.com, the preperations for the first online-held tournament of Dota 2 are almost finished. The last slot in the 24-team group stage goes to the representative of Team Razer, who seperately host a competition for a chance of taking part in the event as well.

While EMC and GoD caught the viewers' attention in the recent past through successful appearances in events such as GosuCup, Intel Challenge or FARM4FAME, TeG have not been seen in the match tickers for months and mark the unknown component in group C.
