Fronted by DotA's most charismatic spokesperson, joinDOTA and TobiWanKenobi have been all over the world providing DotA and Dota 2 coverage for viewers. From SMM in Malaysia to ESWC in France, Tobi has been everywhere for his fans. Today, joinDOTA, along with own3d.tv, is proud to announce a 10,000 € ($14,000) prize pool for their latest Dota 2 tournament, 'The Defense'.
As it is an invitationals, 24 lucky teams will be selected to participate in joinDOTA's first ever organized tournament. Teams will battle it out through two group stages before the top few teams advance to the playoffs. From then on, the going gets tough as the competitors play it out until there is only one victor to claim their lion's share of the $14,000 prize purse.
It seems almost appropriate to say that Dota 2 juggernauts Na`Vi will make their appearance at this tournament. Will they grab their third consecutive Dota 2 win, or will any of the other teams be able to stop them?
