Mara Aquino, the iconic host of the MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines, has announced her departure from the league after almost four years. The announcement of her exit was made on her personal social media accounts.
The news of Mara's departure brought a lot of gratitude from her peers among the MLBB league broadcasters and the MPL Philippines' loyal viewers. Mara started hosting MPL Philippines in Season 7 and would be the primary host of the league without missing a single season.
MPL Philippines also posted a tribute to Mara Aquino by thanking the host and calling her “The queen of esports hosting”. The league also credited her as the voice of MPL Philippines, making sure every talent, fan, and game has their story told.
It is currently unknown where the revered host of MPL Philippines will land after her tenure from the league. MPL Philippines has not yet announced her successor for the upcoming Season 15.
The departure of Mara Aquino continues a trend of massive changes coming to MPL Philippines for Season 15. The changes started with the exit of two major organisations from the league, 
Blacklist International and 
RSG Philippines. Their departure, however, brought two kind-of-new faces for the upcoming season, 
Team Falcons PH and 
Twisted Minds.
The two Saudi Arabian organisations will be a part of the league for Season 15, with Team Falcons PH already announced they grabbed the entirety of 
AP.Bren roster.
These massive changes would undoubtedly bring a fresh new feel to the MPL Philippines and, possibly, a brand new look to the league.
