Team Liquid PH are the first team in MPL PH history to become three-peat champions and claim four domestic titles in total.

Team Liquid PH (TL PH) have become the first-ever team to win three consecutive MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines champions after they defeated 
Team Falcons PH, 4-2, in the grand finals of MPL PH Season 17 on Sunday (31 May).
This marks the fourth MPL PH championship for TL PH, adding to their titles from Season 13 in 2024 as well as Seasons 15 and 16 in 2025.
TL PH superstar 
Karl Gabriel “Karltzy” Nepomuceno was hailed as the Regular Season MVP and is now the most accomplished player in MPL PH history with five domestic titles to his name. Meanwhile, Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya earned the Finals MVP nod and now has four titles under his belt alongside Alston “Sanji” Pabico.
Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz also earned his third MPL PH championship while Dave “Teddyqt” Viaña and Kim “Daikiqt” Sebanes have won their first domestic title.
TL PH have also earned the right to represent MPL PH in the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2026, hosted as part of the Esports World Cup 2026 in July, alongside Falcons PH.
Team Liquid PH complete historic MPL PH three-peat
TL PH's three-peat campaign in MPL PH Season 17 began with a dominant performance in the Regular Season, where they finished as the top seed with a near-perfect 13-1 match record. Their only loss came at the hands of their eventual grand finals opponent, Falcons PH, who earned the second seed with a 12-2 record.
As the Top 2 seeds of the Regular Season, TL PH and Falcons earned a direct berth to the upper bracket semifinals in the Playoffs.
TL PH swept 
Omega Esports, 3-0, in their first match of the Playoffs to advance to the upper bracket finals. On the other hand, Falcons PH were themselves swept by 
ONIC Philippines to get dropped to the lower bracket semifinals. TL PH then routed ONIC PH, 4-1, in the upper bracket finals to become the first team in the grand finals.
Falcons PH defeated Omega in four games in the lower bracket semifinals to earn a rematch with ONIC PH in the lower bracket finals. Falcons PH then avenged their previous loss by taking down ONIC PH in six games to earn the right to challenge TL PH in the grand finals.
The championship round saw TL PH strike first, cruising to a 2-0 series lead after winning the series opener in 15 minutes and game two in 17 minutes. Falcons PH then got on the board by outlasting their opponents in a 21-minute game three before tying up the series at 2-2 with a 16-minute win in game four.
However, that 2-2 tie would be as close as Falcons PH would get to the title. TL PH quickly shook off their last two losses and dominated game five in just 10 minutes of action, giving them a commanding 3-2 series lead. Despite Falcons PH's best efforts to force a deciding game seven, TL PH simply could not be denied in game six as they secured the three-peat in a 14-minute closeout game.
TL PH look to continue dominant run in MSC 2026
With their MPL PH three-peat run complete, TL PH now set their sights on another historic feat: becoming the first-ever back-to-back MSC champions. TL PH won MSC 2025 by defeating Malaysian powerhouse 
Selangor Red Giants (then known as SRG.OG).
TL PH will contest the MSC 2026 title against 24 other teams, which include Falcons PH. MSC 2026 will take place from 1 July to 1 August in Paris, France, with the lion's share of US$1 million out of the tournament's US$3 million prize pool up for grabs.
