MPL Malaysia’s twelfth season is fast approaching as the dates for tournament have now been confirmed.
As we head into the second half of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang season for 2023, the MPL is beginning to pick up steam again across the globe. While Indonesia’s twelfth season heads into its second week, today we had confirmation of the start and end date for the Mobile Legends Professional League in Malaysia. Also heading into a twelfth season, MPL MY is set to bring together 10 teams from the region to battle it out for all the spoils – including a spot at the M5 World Championships.
Announced earlier today, MPL MY Season 12 will begin on August 18, and run through to October 8, giving the teams 8 weeks in which to culminate the event and find a champion. This means that, as per usual, MPL MY will most likely feature a 6-week Regular Season, with a week break in between the playoffs. One change coming into Season 12 will see Madness Esports’ spot going to MPX NSEA – a merger of sorts.
With Team Secret and Team HAQ qualifying into the tournament, some big roster changes, and an ever-evolving meta, MPL MY Season 12 is set to be spectacular. The full roster of teams for the event is:

Many of these saw MLBB action during the off-season, however, all of that will mean nothing when the new season begins on August 18. It will be interesting to see if TODAK will be able to defend their title, or if the likes of HomeBois and SMG will be giving them a greater challenge as we could down the days to MPL MY Season 12 kicking off.
