We already have seen Vol'jins model far before this teaser, but the identical looking axes seem proof positive.
The animated teaser was first shown on Twitter and Facebook today:
From this clip alone, we can deduce a few things:
- Whoever the new hero is, they hate Arthas. This confirmed they are at least from the WoW universe.
- The new hero enjoys groovy tribal music.
- The new hero has incredible accuracy with throwing weapons, particularly axes.
- Is it Vul'jin or Zul'jin? All will be revealed soon.
The most obvious candidate for these clues isVol'jin and by the looks of the axes already seen in theVol'jin model revealed at previous BlizzCons, it's hard to speculate anything else. Ranged Assassin? Looks like it. For those of you who don't know much about Warcraft Trolls, the basics are easy enough to understand.
Trolls like throwing axes and going into a berserker rage that drastically increases their attack speed and overall viciousness. They have increased regeneration qualities and have been known to align themselves with dark voodoo magic. They are expert hunters, trackers, skinners, and can pretty much survive in the wild better than any other race. Massively tall but surprisingly mellow, Trolls have been a fan favorite for nearly a decade.
