It was a tough three days of play for all teams, but the top three spots were taken by all three Korean teams, and they don't look like stopping.
On the last day of group play, there were scenarios where either Zero Panda or MVP Miracle could drop into the lower bracket with Team Dignitas or Super Perfect Team potentially moving up. These scenarios required some unlikely results, and 2-0 wins were sorely needed, as the single points just would not be enough.
The first series on both streams went somewhat as expected, with Super Perfect Team and MVP Miracle getting their much needed two wins:
Up until this point in the tournament, Astral Authority had not shown much promise, but showing that even though they're at the bottom of the standings, they still have some fight in them, taking at least one game against Zero Panda. Meanwhile, the juggernaut team Ballistix seems to just keep picking up steam.

While MVP Black dispatched Zero Panda, Team Dignitas and Super Perfect Team were locked in a battle that will not be forgotten anytime soon. Forced to play with a 6% core for about 15 minutes, Dignitas were able to fend off potential back door plays and make an incredible comeback. SPT took game two, but Dignitas showed just how good they can be as a team.

- MVP Black vs Zero Panda: 2 - 0
Unable to get the 2-0 against SPT, Team Dignitas' chances at the top four suffered, which gives the winner of their match against MVP Miracle fifth place.
- Team Dignitas vs MVP Miracle: 1 - 1
- Ballistix vs MVP Black: 2 - 0
At the end of the group stage, a tiebreaker series needed to be played between Team Dignitas and Super Perfect Team, which went in favor of the European squad, Dignitas, giving them fifth place and pitting them against Astral Authority in the playoffs.
