Blizzard have recently announced that people that watch the Summer Championship might just win themselves some goodies.
Previously during major eSports event, Blizzard gave those who linked their twitch accounts with their battle.net accounts unique portraits as a reward for watching their favourite teams play. Now it seems the intention is to up the ante because, during the Dreamhack Summer Championship, HotS game codes will be given out at “regular intervals throughout the show”.
We will have to wait and see to find out just how frequent these giveaways are and what they will entail, since that wasn’t said, but it's pretty safe to assume it will be some combination of hero and skin codes. Regardless, offering incentives for people to stay tuned in throughout the entire broadcast might give official stream an overall bump in viewership.
