In a Youtube video, Thomas “Khaldor” Kilian has recently announced that he will be hosting a set of Showmatches with different rules to what we’re used to.
“Meta Madness”, the name given to these Showmatches, give a taste of what’s to come. In short, the new ruleset dictates that draft bans will be banned for the entirety of the Bo5 series, making the hero pool more limited as they go. This event will take place on Friday (10.06.2016) at 6pm CEST and will feature two separate series for $100 each. The competing teams are teh89 vs CrowingCocks and Team Liquid vs Fnatic.
Considering how interesting the concept is and its potential for future growth, this is probably an event worth checking out. You can catch the games live at Khaldor’s twitch page.
