Blizzard tweets about surprise balance update today: Tyrande nerfs incoming?

The moment we've all been waiting for may be arriving today, Tyrande being nuked from orbit.

It's another day, another bunch of twitter surprises from Blizzard. On today's menu, a surprise balance patch happening a bit later. While certainly an unusual announcement and procedure for Blizzard, it is certainly nice to finally be getting changes.

So for the obvious, Tyrande will likely be nerfed heavily in this patch. If not only for her absurdly high pick rate universally, also for her ban rate in competitive heroes, and her winrate in games where she isn't banned. On top of all that, Dustin Browder himself even used the word OP specifically to describe Tyrande's current state.

Hopefully we will also be getting some form of universal rework to stuns. The stun meta has been chugging along for a little over a month now, and I think it's safe to say everyone is sick of it. While stuns are an important aspect of a moba, the raw power they hold right now is enough to win a game out right. Whether it be early game ganks, or late game teamfights, stuns are simply too strong.

Lastly, it would be nice if some of the recently released heroes got a little love. Lunara, Cho'Gall, Artanis, and even Greymane to an extent all suffer from low winrates. The rebalancing of stuns can help heroes like Artanis and Cho'Gall immensely, but Lunara desperately needs a damage and health increase for her to be in a position of even semi-viability.

So of course, all of this is just speculation, but with comments by Browder himself, and the communty voicing these concerns, I would be surprised if we didn't get two or all of these changes.
