New legendary and epic revealed

More cards saw the daylight today through new card reveals by Millenium and podcast host ChanManV.?

As more and more cards flow out, today podcast host ChanManV had the honor of presenting a new card. In a video on Youtube the new card Cult Apothecary was revealed, alongside an analysis by ChanManV. Its stats are not impressive, and are similar to [card]Kvaldir Raider[/card] and [card]Frostwolf Warlord[/card]. Its effect, however, seems interesting against aggressive decks. It directly mitigates some of the damage dealt by those decks, and especially in a board-control focused deck such as Zoo, this card seems to be able to shine.

The second card to be released today is [card]King Mukla[/card], but now in style of the Old Gods expansion. Released by French community Millenium in a YouTube video, it is another legendary Neutral minion. It has similar stats as [card]Sylvanas Windrunner[/card] and [card]Emperor Thaurissan[/card], which is why this card might have a hard time fitting in existing decks. The battlecry effect, giving two bananas to yourself, probably finds itself most effective in Tempo Mage decks, where the synergy with [card]Flamewaker[/card] and [card]Mana Wyrm[/card] can lead to srong board presence. The beast tag on Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale will, as for now, not make a huge difference, as beast-centered decks are currently not strong in the meta. Perhaps, though, the Old Gods have some unexpectedly powerful beast synergie waiting for us.
