David “Dog” Caero burned Harald “Powder” Gimre to cinders and advances to the second major grand final of his career.

Dog flew to Birmingham as part of the American power trio of himself, Paul “Zalae” Nemeth and former world champion James “Firebat” Kostesich. By the final rounds of the tournament, however, he remained the only one standing from this group.
Exiting the swiss stage, Dog found himself in a group of death with Adrian “Lifecoach” Koy, Nuno “Ignite” Pinho and Jan “SuperJJ” Janssen. After a loss to G2’s juggernaut, Dog fought for survival agains the other two players in the pool to make it into the playoffs.
Running a line-up of Malygos Rogue, Tempo Mage and Control Warrior, Dog’s piloted his classes perfectly to not only win against fellow American Zalae, but also outplay Harald “Powder” Gimre in the semi final, ending Swede’s life through a barrage of [card]Fireball[/card]s enabled through double [card]Sorcerer’s Apprentice[/card]. This put him in prime position to win Truesilver Championship 2, which would be the first major gold of his career. He will play one of two underdogs in the winner of C4mlann and Ness.
Last year, Dog came really close to closing a major win at DreamHack Summer, but was denied by China’s finest Xieyu “TiddlerCelestial” Wang. With his team-mates Sjow, Savjz and Elky having sporadic tournament performances, this is also a great opportunity for Liquid to make the headlines.
