One Piece is officially coming to Fortnite, Epic Games confirms

The Fortnite x One Piece collaboration might run during its upcoming Treasure Hunters event.

One Piece is officially crossing over into Fortnite, Epic Games has confirmed with a brief teaser.

The seven-second clip shows a pirate ship approaching through the nighttime fog, followed by a Fortnite x One Piece joint logo at the end. Take a look below:

This reveal follows Fortnite’s announcement of a ‘Treasure Hunters’ event, with many linking it to the upcoming One Piece collaboration. The Treasure Hunters event is scheduled to launch on 1 November, just as its Halloween event, Fortnitemares, ends. It is also speculated to be a mini-season that will bridge the gap between Chapter 7 and Chapter 8.

All we know about the Fortnite x One Piece collaboration so far

Amid Fortnite’s Halloween season, which has seen iconic horror franchises such as Five Nights at Freddy’s and Nikki from Obsession join the battle royale mode, Epic Games has offered a glimpse of what lies ahead.

The latest announced collaboration features the legendary manga and anime series One Piece, which is likely to arrive alongside the Treasure Hunters event. While no further details have been revealed about what the pirate-themed crossover will include, the community has already begun speculating.

One of the main topics of discussion is whether the One Piece crossover will be based on the original anime or the 2023 live-action adaptation. Some fans have pointed out that the ship featured in the teaser resembles the one from the anime, although Epic Games has yet to confirm which version the collaboration will draw from.

This is not the first time the notorious pirates have crossed paths with Fortnite. The game previously collaborated with Netflix to release a One Piece Creative map in conjunction with the live-action adaptation’s release in 2023.

However, this upcoming crossover appears to be a much larger collaboration, meaning that fans could potentially see character skins and other cosmetics arrive in the Item Shop. Expect more official details to drop soon, as we approach the Treasure Hunters “event” on 1 November.

One Piece now stands among Fortnite's most popular collaborations

One Piece has quickly become one of Fortnite’s most popular collaboration announcements, with its post on X amassing 10 million views and 208,000 likes in just over a day.

It marks another successful announcement, with the game's recent Five Nights at Freddy’s collaboration proving even more popular, racking up 14 million impressions in just nine hours.

The game is currently running its Fortnitemares 2026 event, featuring Halloween-themed crossovers throughout October. The event takes place during Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, which brings ‘gaming legends’ from across the entertainment industry into the battle royale, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, and Persona 5.
