One of Year Four's newcomers is arriving with unfinished business.
Street Fighter 6's Year 4 DLC lineup is officially underway, and Capcom has revealed gameplay for Year 4's first new fighter Yasmine. Hailing from the Philippines, the knife-wielding combatant uses Eskrima, the country's national martial art, and joins the roster on 3 August, 2026. Her toolkit centres on rapid movement, close-range pressure, and Bayani Mode, a powered-up state that rewards aggressive play.
Yasmine is the first character scheduled for Street Fighter 6's Year 4 roster, which also includes fellow newcomer Arjun, Final Fantasy VII Remake series guest character Tifa, and World Tour's Bosch.
Who is Yasmine in Street Fighter 6?
Yasmine's story begins with her grandfather, who taught her Eskrima alongside her kuya, or older brother. Following her brother's sudden disappearance, she put away her Karambit knife and stepped away from the martial art she had grown up practising.
It wasn't until she came across videos from a certain French supermodel that she decided to pick up the blade again, setting out on a journey to uncover what happened to her missing sibling. In battle, however, Yasmine wastes little time dwelling on the past. The Filipino fighter is built around relentless offence, using rapid movement and fast-paced Eskrima techniques to stay on top of opponents and keep the pressure firmly in her favour.
Street Fighter 6 Yasmine moveset and Super Arts revealed
As she searches for her missing brother, Yasmine brings a range of high-speed Eskrima techniques into battle, many of which can transition her into the powered-up Bayani Mode state.
Daloy ng Tubig
A fast advancing knife attack that can be used to open or extend combo routes.
Alon
A follow-up technique that sees Yasmine unleash a flurry of slashes. The attack's ending changes depending on the strength used, and successful hits can activate Bayani Mode.
Talim ng Hangin
Yasmine spins forward with a low sweeping strike that can either help her close the distance or bait out an opponent's attack. Landing the move places her into Bayani Mode.
Mukha ng Langit
A forward-flipping attack that can catch opponents with different follow-up strikes, giving Yasmine additional mix-up options.
Lipad ng Agila
A multi-hit aerial technique where Yasmine launches into a rapid barrage of kicks.
Pangil sa Likuran
A swirling projectile that travels at different speeds, allowing Yasmine to pressure opponents and pursue openings from a distance.
Hiwa ng Kalangitan
Yasmine's Level 1 Super Art launches an opponent into the air before driving them back to the ground, and transitioning into Bayani Mode.
Nakatagong Lakas
Her Level 2 Super Art grants a temporary power boost that allows her to continue using special moves, while remaining in Bayani Mode. During the effect, she can also perform Linya ng Liwanag, a dash-through attack that strikes from behind.
Pamumukadkad ng Sampaguita
Yasmine's Level 3 Super Art sees her spin an opponent before gathering energy and unleashing a powerful finishing attack.
When does Yasmine come out in Street Fighter 6?

Yasmine enters the fight on 3 August, 2026, becoming the first playable character in Street Fighter 6's Year 4 lineup. She will be available to players who purchase the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass.
Alongside the new fighter, Capcom is introducing two costumes. Outfit 1 showcases Yasmine in her Eskrima combat gear, while Outfit 2 trades the battlefield for the classroom with a school uniform look. Players can unlock the second outfit through Avatar Arcade Mode progression or purchase it with Fighter Coins.
Her release will also bring a new wave of battle balance updates for the entire roster, with detailed patch notes set to arrive ahead of maintenance.
