Here are all cities, dates, and events announced for Pokemon’s 30th Anniversary celebration.
Since its debut in 1996, Pokémon has built a massive global fanbase and produced countless iconic games over the past three decades. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, The Pokémon Company is hosting its biggest celebration yet across Asia, bringing events to major cities throughout the continent.
The company is rolling out a lineup of activities, including PokéXciting!, Pokémon RUN 30, Pokémon Trading Card Game events, Pokémon GO activities, shopping mall campaigns, and more. An official website dedicated to the anniversary celebration has also been launched, providing further details on city-specific events.
PokéXciting! takes centre stage in the 30th anniversary celebration
According to The Pokémon Company, PokéXciting! will be the main highlight of the 30th anniversary celebrations, bringing large-scale events to five cities across Asia, each offering its own unique Pokémon experience.
"This celebration is a tribute to everyone who has journeyed with us over the decades. Whether you are a current Trainer or a longtime fan returning to the world of Pokémon, we invite you to join us for this milestone experience," The Pokémon Company stated.
Specific activities and festivities have yet to be announced, as the company says it is preparing a variety of experiences and attractions. However, interested fans can already start planning ahead, as the event dates have been confirmed.
The celebrations will kick off in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this September, before heading to Taipei, Singapore, Manila, and Bangkok, with the latter hosting the final stop in February next year.

What is the Pokémon RUN 30 event?
The anniversary celebrations will also feature an immersive fun run, where participants can complete their Pokédex, evolve their Pokémon, and visit themed checkpoints such as Gyms and Pokémon Centres to recharge along the route.

Participants can expect to receive a limited-edition Pokémon Gear Pack containing a Pikachu shoulder plush, a Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion pack, a commemorative limited-edition T-shirt, and more.
The event will also feature a special Carnival Zone, a post-run hub where participants can relax, meet fellow Trainers, and browse collectibles and merchandise. Other attractions include a Time Tunnel showcasing Pokémon's history, a Pikachu Parade, meet-and-greet sessions, photo opportunities, and interactive booths.
