Silent Hill: Townfall is launching this September.
Annapurna Interactive has confirmed a release date for its upcoming Silent Hill spin-off game: Silent Hill: Townfall. The standalone game will launch on 24 September, 2026, bringing players into a new horror adventure set in the fictional town of St. Amelia.

What is Silent Hill: Townfall?
Silent Hill: Townfall is officially launching on 24 September, 2026. The upcoming horror game marks the third consecutive annual release for the Silent Hill franchise, following 2024’s Silent Hill 2 and 2025’s Silent Hill f. A new trailer for the game was released during this week’s State of Play presentation, confirming its release date.
Silent Hill: Townfall follows a new protagonist named Simon, who wakes up in unfamiliar surroundings: the fictional coastal Scottish town of St. Amelia. This week’s new trailer introduces one of the townspeople, a nurse named Zoe who seems to recognise Simon.
Silent Hill: Townfall is played in first-person, but otherwise resembles every other Silent Hill game before it. Players will navigate a foggy town filled with horrendous monsters, while solving puzzles and engaging in combat in order to progress.
In this entry, Simon will be able to evade enemies or use combat to deal with monsters. He can use the CRTV to stay out of sight and peek out from cover to use stealth. On the PlayStation 5, these stealth features might feel a tad more immersive thanks to the DualSense’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Motion controls are also available for fine-tuning the CRTV, and interacting with other gameplay elements.
Silent Hill: Townfall pre-order details
Silent Hill: Townfall is now available to pre-order in both Standard and Deluxe Editions. The Standard Edition comes with the following cosmetics:
- CRTV: Rusted
- CRTV: Beach Edition
The Deluxe Edition includes the above, plus the following:
- Simon’s Outfit: Alternate
- Bonus Application (containing an interactive artbook and digital soundtrack)
- 48-hour early access
