Who are Neverness to Everness (NTE) characters?

There are currently 14 playable characters in NTE, with several more teased for future updates. Below is a breakdown of all revealed characters, including their stats and methods of obtaining them.

Zero

Zero in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Cosmos
  • Archetype: Solid
  • Combat Roles: Damage, Instant Cycle, Burst DPS
  • How to obtain: [FREE] Default character

You begin the game as Zero, the protagonist of the story, available as either a male or female character depending on the player’s choice. According to the lore, Zero awakened before the events of the story began.

Mint

Mint in NTE
  • Rarity: A-Class
  • Esper Type: Anima
  • Archetype: Liquid
  • Combat Roles: Damage, Main DPS (AOE)
  • Affiliation: Bureau of Anomaly Control’s Containment Unit 2
  • How to obtain: [FREE] Finish the Prologue / The Ichi-daime limited banner

Mint is recognised for her turquoise hair with sharp pink eyes and cat-like features. Many are already calling her the “waifu” of NTE, a title she certainly seems designated for. However, she is considered one of the weaker A-Class characters for combat. She'll be useful in the early game, but you'll find yourself opting for other stronger characters later on.

Nanally

Nanally in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Anima
  • Archetype: Plasma
  • Combat Roles: Damage, Main DPS, Follow-up Attack
  • How to obtain: The Ichi-daime limited banner

Nanally stands out with her bright red hair and nerdy, clumsy demeanor–which funnily contrasts with her fist-full melee combat. She is widely regarded as the strongest character in NTE so far.

Nanally is available through the Ichi-daime limited banner, which runs until 14 May 2026. Players can guarantee her by accumulating 75–90 pulls regardless of the 50/50 outcome.

Adler

Adler in NTE
  • Rarity: A-Class
  • Esper Type: Incantation
  • Archetype: Bose
  • Combat Roles: Survival, Shield, DOT
  • Affiliation: Eibon Antique Shop
  • How to obtain: [FREE] Progress to Eibon Antique Shop in the main story / The Ichi-daime limited banner

Adler carries a calm and collected presence, but his fighting style is anything but–wielding his cane as a weapon that actually fires gunshots. He serves as a durable tank thanks to his shielding abilities, making him a strong addition to any starter team. You’ll meet him early on in the game as you progress through the main story.

Daffodil

Daffodil in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Chaos
  • Archetype: Liquid
  • Combat Roles: Damage, Burst DPS, Break Boost
  • Affiliation: Eibon Antique Shop
  • How to obtain: Standard Banner

Daffodil brings an elegant presence, with black hair accented with distinctive blue highlights. In combat, she wields a pair of gladius-like swords and is considered one of the strongest damage-dealers for your starting roster.

Hathor

Hathor in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Lakshana
  • Archetype: Plasma
  • Combat Roles: Damage, Burst DPS
  • Affiliation: Sterry Express
  • How to obtain: Standard banner

Hathor features celestial-like aesthetics with a single functional wing on one side that makes her stand out. She works in delivery as an operative of Sterry Express, which may explain the superbike featured in her ultimate animation. Her combat style blends martial arts-inspired movements with occasional aerial manoeuvres.

Jiuyuan

Jiuyuan in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Anima
  • Archetype: Solid
  • Combat Roles: Damage, Burst DPS, Control
  • Affiliation: Sterry Express
  • How to obtain: Standard banner

One glance at Jiuyuan and you’ll know she’s the designated “mommy” of NTE’s lineup right now. She has a mature vibe, sporting a large sun hat and dark purple accents. In combat, she fights as a poised gunner wielding dual revolvers. While she deals decent damage, she is not quite among the strongest characters in the roster.

Baicang

Baicang in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Incantation
  • Archetype: Synthesis
  • Combat Roles: Damage, Main DPS, DOT
  • Affiliation: Bureau of Anomaly Control (ETD-4)
  • How to obtain: Standard banner

Baicang, the captain of ETD-4, seems like the most popular male character in NTE right now. He has a calm demeanor with distinctive side braids. While his whole aesthetic sees white-themed fit, his combat abilities feature vivid crimson theme with swarming red butterflies, an occurring theme within his aesthetics as he also sports a butterfly brooch on his collar.

Fadia

Fadia in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Psych
  • Archetype: Synthesis
  • Combat Roles: Survival, DMG Redirection
  • Affiliation: Bureau of Animal Control (ETD-4)
  • How to obtain: Standard banner

Fadia has a distinctive goth-punk aesthetic, and her weapon is perhaps the most unique in the lineup–a massive cross-shaped shield that she uses both defensively and offensively. She plays as a mix of support and tank, making her quite unique in NTE’s current roster.

Edgar

Edgar in NTE
  • Rarity: A-Class
  • Esper Type: Cosmos
  • Archetype: Liquid
  • Combat Roles: Survival + Healing
  • Affiliation: Eibon Antique Shop
  • How to obtain: Standard banner / The Ichi-daime limited banner

Edgar is the youngest boy in the starting roster, appearing as a diligent student who attacks with whatever he learnt from the academy and at certain points, attacks using his heavy backpack. He is a supporting member though heavily outshined by other similar characters.

Skia

Skia in NTE
  • Rarity: A-Class
  • Esper Type: Lakshana
  • Archetype: Gas
  • Combat Roles: Damage
  • Affiliation: Bureau of Animal Control (ETD-4)
  • How to obtain: Standard banner

Skia is a tall anthropomorphic half-wolf, half-human character with a stoic demeanour, befitting his role as a lieutenant within the Bureau of Animal Control. His moves are inspired by martial arts and one of his standout abilities allow him to sink into his own shadows to have brief flexible movement and invulnerability.

Haniel

Haniel in NTE
  • Rarity: A-Class
  • Esper Type: Psyche
  • Archetype: Solid
  • Combat Roles: Support, Buff + DMG Boost
  • Affiliation: Sterry Express
  • How to obtain: [FREE] Default first pull after unlocking the gacha system

Haniel is portrayed as a modern, youthful character with gaming aesthetics. This carries over into her combat style, where her owl-like android companion, Hootie, and flashy visual effects evoke arcade game visuals and sound effects. Haniel would be a decent choice for your starting squad, especially since she is a free support character who performs well in the early game.

Chiz

Chiz in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Cosmos
  • Archetype: Gas
  • Combat Roles: Damage, Main DPS
  • Affiliation: Dvorak Family
  • How to obtain:  [FREE] Reach Rank 18 in City Tycoon

Chiz, a very popular character from the starting roster, features a soft pink colour theme and wields a kendama-like weapon that triggers coin animations during attacks. She is currently one of the strongest characters in NTE. Excitingly, she is also one of the free S-Class characters offered, although you’ll need to do a bit of grinding in City Tycoon to obtain her.

Sakiri

Sakiri in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Incantation
  • Archetype: Gas
  • Combat Roles: Buff, Control, DMG Boost
  • Affiliation: Eibon Antique Shop
  • How to obtain: Standard banner / free S-Class selector

If you spot a tiny person running around, that is none other than Sakiri. Contrasting her petite size, she wields a massive Anomaly hammer named Kiroumaru, which she uses to smash enemies and swing with force. She is widely regarded as the strongest support character available early on through the standard banner.

Aurelia

Aurelia in NTE
  • Rarity: A-Class
  • Esper Type: Psyche
  • Archetype: Unknown
  • Combat Roles: Ranged AOE, DPS
  • How to obtain:  [FREE] Day 3 login reward from the launch event

Aurelia is one of the newest additions to the NTE roster. She notably floats atop a blue jellyfish companion that also assists her during combat. Aurelia is a free character given as a day 3 login reward following NTE’s launch.

Hotori

Hotori in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Cosmos
  • Archetype: Solid
  • Combat Roles: Buff, Burst DPS, DMG Boost
  • Affiliation: The Dvoraks
  • How to obtain: Upcoming limited time banner

There is still little known about Hotori beyond her basic details and elegant, royal-inspired appearance. However, she's already become a hot topic. Hotori is an upcoming character arriving alongside her limited-time banner, “Misty Tipsy Style”, running from 13 May to 3 June 2026 as part of Version 1.0.

Lacrimosa

Lacrimosa in NTE
  • Rarity: S-Class
  • Esper Type: Chaos
  • Archetype: Unknown
  • Combat Roles: Ranged AOE, DPS
  • Affiliation: Bureau of Anomaly Control’s ETD-4
  • How to obtain: TBA

Lacrimosa stands out with her contrasting monochrome hairstyle, paired with an oversized red jacket that perfectly matches her unusual obsession with tomatoes. Although she appears in the game’s early cutscenes, she is not yet playable and will likely arrive in a future update.

There are also several teased characters with little to no information available yet. Look forward to the future release of Akane, Alphard, Black Bird, Chaos, Elyms, Exe, Irai, Lingka, and Shinku.
