A now-deleted post from a Cyberpunk voice actor has fuelled speculation of Lucy and Rebecca entering Wuthering Waves.

Platforms: PC (Windows and Mac), iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5
Developer: Kuro Games
The post, made by one of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’ voice actors Wendee Lee on X, read “Cyberpunk x Wuthering Waves–Lucy & Rebecca” before being promptly deleted after attracting attention.
Rumours of the characters joining Wuthering Waves have circulated for some time, particularly through leaks from WuWa fan pages and other sources. However, the now-deleted post from a member of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners staff has given these speculations further credibility.
One of WuWa’s fan pages noted that Lee, who follows the account, initially liked a post about the characters joining the game before reposting it herself. “I think after following me, she saw my tweets about the collab and thought it was official,” the page stated.
While fans have been anticipating a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners x Wuthering Waves collaboration some time this year, no official announcement has been made regarding the crossover content. The reason for the deletion remains unclear, leading to speculation that it may have been a premature announcement or simply a misunderstanding.
Who are the crossover characters coming to Wuthering Waves?
Lucy is the main female protagonist of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and is the love interest of the lead male protagonist, David Martinez. She is calm, intelligent, and highly skilled in hacking. Lucy excels in stealth and agile movement, with advanced cybernetic combat abilities thanks to her cyberware implants. These skills could translate well into Wuthering Waves, if the collaboration is confirmed.
Meanwhile, Rebecca, In stark contrast to Lucy, is hyperactive and comical. She specialises in close-quarters combat, whether it be using melee weapons or firearms, and is known for her high mobility and speed–also traits that could be adapted as gameplay mechanics in WuWa.
Fans have also questioned why David was not a part of the rumoured crossover content, considering his role as the anime's main character. Nonetheless, anticipation remains high as the community awaits an official announcement. The collaboration is expected to arrive on Wuthering Waves' 3.4 version, roughly in two months, which is rumoured to last for an extended 40-day period.
